Meet Your Coach
I am an educator with more than 23 years of experience as a dedicated professional leader with a background in teaching and counseling. My educational experience consists of a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and professional school counselor certification. I currently serve as the Director of Elementary Counseling in public education. I have previously served as a Mental Health Specialist in a Home Health setting, a mentor for adolescents, teens, and young adults, an elementary school teacher, professional school counselor, and Director of Counseling PK - 12. Additionally, I am a certified REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) Life Coach, TBRI Practitioner (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), and a nationally certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. I have also had the honor of presenting trauma-informed practices and strategies and best practices in school counseling on a state and national level.
The birth of Heartfelt Changes surfaced as I experienced challenges in an area that matters most, FAMILY! I am the mother and bonus mom of young adults in these challenging times and wife to a man that's perfect for me in an imperfect marriage. As I thrive daily, my heart desires to share with others my expertise and practical life lessons.
